All ticket options include the main attraction that is the tour of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu through one of its 4 walking circuits. In addition to this you can add one of the mountains that surround Machu Picchu, that is: Wayna Picchu, the famous mountain that appears in the photos of Machu Picchu; Machu Picchu Mountain, from where you have spectacular views of the landscape; or Huchuy Picchu Mountain, the small mountain located to the left of Wayna Picchu.
IMPORTANT: additional visit options such as Wayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Mountain and Huchuy Picchu cannot be purchased separately.
TYPE 1
This is the only ticket that allows you to choose one of 4 walking circuits in the citadel at the time of entering the park. With this ticket you have access to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu and you can walk its streets, its temples, and see the famous Sundial or Intiwatana. It is suitable for the whole family and there is no entrance charge for children under 3 years old. You can stay in the park for up to 4 hours from the time of entry.
TYPE 2
Only with Circuit 4. It is the most requested ticket and only 420 tourists can enter a day, divided into 4 groups. It is recommended for adventure lovers; the walk is of medium difficulty along a marked and safe Inca trail. Young people over 12 years old may enter but all minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. The tourist can stay in Machu Picchu for 6 hours with this ticket.
The entrance gate to Wayna Picchu is located within the Inca citadel, so it is imperative to go at the time indicated on your entrance ticket.
TYPE 3
Only with Circuit 3. In addition to visiting the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, you can walk the path and steps that will take you to the top of the mountain also called Machu Picchu, surrounded by the flora of the sanctuary. There are no age limits, and it is recommended for the whole family, especially for those who love long walks. With this ticket you can stay in Machu Picchu for up to 8 hours.
The entrance to this mountain is located inside the archaeological park, so you must take the measures and reserve at the correct times. This mountain offers incredible little known views of Machu Picchu. It will take you more than 2 hours to get to the top and back.
TYPE 4
Only with Circuit 4. This ticket gives you access to the Inca citadel and also the possibility of visiting Huchuy Picchu Mountain. You will enjoy little-known views of Machu Picchu; the walk is easy along a well-preserved and safe Inca trail. With this ticket you can stay in Machu Picchu for up to 6 hours.
The entrance gate to Huchuy Picchu Mountain is inside the Inca citadel, so take your precautions and visit Machu Picchu at the times that appear on your ticket.
TIPO 05
Solo con Circuito 1 ó 2. Este boleto le da el acceso a la ciudadela inca y además la posibilidad de visitar el famoso Puente Inka «Inka bridge», el boleto le permite llegar a este, pero por motivos de conservación este puente no puede ser atravesado, disfrutará de vistas poco difundidas la caminata es a través de caminos incas muy bien conservados en la montaña Machu Picchu. Con este boleto puede quedarse en Machu Picchu hasta 6 horas.
La puerta de ingreso a este sector esta dentro de la ciudadela inca, así que tome sus precauciones y visite Machu Picchu en los horarios que figuran en su boleto.
The four circuits to visit Machu Picchu should not be confused with the types of tickets. They are distributed throughout the Inca citadel, in the archaeological zone starting at the control gate of the park. They were created to provide a better experience and avoid crowds of tourists which used to make it difficult to pass through the park.

If you want to visit two or more circuits then you will have to buy more than one entrance ticket. Remember that re-entry to Machu Picchu is not allowed once you leave the park, and that tickets to Machu Picchu are not sold at the entrance gate.
